The Public Relations writers is responsible for positively showing an organizations mission, brand, and values, through a concise, clear, accurate and memorable storytelling process; the public relations writer specialist helps companies build strong relationships with their target audience and write strategically to deliver an effective message. Every company needs a public relations team, especially for writing; having someone that knows how to showcase your company to the public positively and effectively will allow you to not only get more exposure, but to also increase your clientele, and grow the incoming revenue of your business. I believe the public relations writer’s role is essential for any company’s success and growth, I have seen from first-hand how having a great PR team can positively help a business achieve and surpass their goals and their public’s expectations; writing and being a good storyteller is a big challenge that not everyone is good at, and finding a PR professional that has the experience and talent for writing will truly allow you to focus on other areas of the company while they promote your mission and value to the public, Moore said “Public relations specialists also monitor media coverage, manage social media and organize events to create positive publicity for the organization” (White, 2023). “Public relations is the strategic management function that helps an organization achieve its goals and objectives through building and maintaining goodwill with its various stakeholders/public.” (Newsom & Haynes, 1994).
