2 A Blueprint for Digital Transformation 1. Summarize what is Framework for Digital Transformation according to this video presentation. The framework in the video focuses on improving the digital value in customer journeys. It focuses on understanding the ecosystem, choosing and designing customer journeys, using modular and reusable business services, separating technology parts, creating architecture and governance, promoting teamwork, and creating useful metrics (Dr. Raj Ramesh, 2016). This framework understands the need to adjust to the fast-changing digital world, meet customer expectations, and constantly evolve for successful digital transformation. 2. Identify and explain two interesting facts from the Digital Transformation Blueprint video. Why are these two facts interesting to you? a) Reusable Business Services: One interesting aspect of the framework its focus on making business services modular and reusable. This idea helps companies create a collection of services that can be used in different customer experiences (Dr. Raj Ramesh, 2016). It's interesting because it shows the benefits of creating processes and services that can be easily adjusted and reused, which reduces repetition and improves flexibility. b) Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working together across different departments to collaborate on digital transformation efforts is interesting. These teams have people from different parts of the organization and they always learn new techniques and methods (Dr. Raj Ramesh, 2016). Collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a culture of learning are important for successful digital transformation. These facts are exciting because they show how being flexible, working together, and being efficient are important in today's business world.
3 3. How do you envision the information in this video being able to help you in your future Digital Transformation journey in your future profession? Provide a specific example with details and example. As someone who works with digital transformation, this video has helpful information for my future work. Thinking that I work for an insurance company that wants to become more digital. Based on the video, I would do the following steps: a) Understanding the Ecosystem: I will carefully examine the things inside our company (people, processes, and data) and outside factors (regulations, competition, customer expectations) that affect our business. b) Customer Focus: I would analyze important customer journeys in insurance, like buying policies, handling claims, and providing support. c) Journey Selection and Modeling: I will choose a few of these journeys that match our digital vision and are important to our customers. For instance, I might focus on the process of buying a policy. d) Business Services: I will focus on breaking down important business services, like digital signature verification, into smaller parts that can be used in different situations. This will make things more efficient and avoid unnecessary repetition. e) Technology Infrastructure: We will keep the technology parts for these services separate so we can upgrade and change them without messing up everything else. f) Architecture and Governance: We would create models to represent the changing ecosystem and establish mechanisms to effectively manage and plan changes.

4 g) Cross-Functional Collaboration: I would use teams from different departments to work together on our digital transformation efforts. This way, we can make sure that everyone has the right knowledge and skills to keep up with changing technologies and customer needs. h) Metrics and Key Indicators: We will create and keep track of new metrics that are tailored to our goals for digital transformation. These metrics will help us make decisions based on real- time information. i) Continuous Evolution: We will always be ready to adapt and manage changes to stay flexible and responsive to the changing business environment. The video's information helps with digital transformation, making it easier, customer- focused, and adaptable. This method would assist the insurance company in staying competitive and offering a smooth experience to its customers in the digital era.
