Henry Walker started a prosperous business in Leicester and Mansfield after working as a butcher in the 1880s. There was no meat in the stores until 10 a.m. after World War II ended in the 1940s. The business, which began making potato chips in 1948, had to increase the variety of products it offered since it was not operating to its full potential. I will evaluate the Walker processing plant's performance to see how it strikes a balance between the four essential factors of cost, quality, customer service, and safety (Business Case Study, n.d.).
