OFFICIAL OFFICIAL Scope of Registration RTOs cannot deliver any course they wish once registered. Providers must apply for approval to deliver and assess every qualification, skill set or a single unit of competency that they plan to deliver. They can only train and assess the training products as listed on their current scope of registration. To apply for approval to deliver any additional qualification, skill set or a single unit of competency, the term used in VET is called an “extension to scope”. 1
OFFICIAL OFFICIAL Scope of Registration Let’s look at this unit of competency from the previous activity: CHCCCS002 Assist with movement. Look for and click on the link that says, “Find RTOs approved to deliver this unit of competency”.
