Your Answer - Satisfactory (1) See Model Answer Bhishma Kharel 14 Sep, 2023 7:22 PM Here are three ways you may become aware that the probe thermometer is faulty: 1, Inaccurate Readings: One of the most obvious signs of a faulty thermometer is consistently inaccurate readings. If the thermometer consistently shows temperatures that are significantly higher or lower than expected, it may be faulty. 2. Slow Response Time: A properly functioning probe thermometer should respond quickly to temperature changes. If you notice that it takes an unusually long time for the thermometer to register a temperature or that it doesn't respond at all, it may be fauly. 3. Erratic Readings or Fluctuations: A faulty thermometer may display erratic temperature readings that fluctuate rapidly without any apparent reason. If you see sudden jumps or drops in temperature readings, it's a sign that the thermometer may be malfunctioning.
