Value Proposition Studies indicate that a value proposition is a brief declaration that expresses the advantages of a product or service that a company guarantees to its clients. In the end, it is what appeals to a product's ideal client (Mullin, 2022). A value proposition describes what a company does better than anybody else and explains why a customer should work with the company or purchase its goods. In this scenario, the paper will analyze the value proposition of the old people’s app. Old people’s Main problem Reports indicate that older people are alone for more than half of their waking hours. Additionally, most of these individuals aged above 60 years spend about half of their daily measured time alone. In all, this equates to nearly seven hours each day, and for those who live alone, this number rises to more than ten hours per day (Sashidesuyo, 2020).This time spent alone can lead to social isolation, which has long led to adverse health outcomes in the elderly individuals such as risk factors heart disease, decreased sleep and increased inflammation, brain and cardiovascular aging acceleration. According to Portenhauser et al. (2021), health care systems face a number of issues as a result of the world's aging population, including rising expenditures and a potential undersupply of medical and social services for senior citizens. Moreover, loneliness, changes in social ties, socioeconomic position, and physical and mental functional impairments are problems that older individuals come across daily. These aging- related changes frequently have significant impacts on general health, independent maintenance, and social participation. Many older individuals are frail and unable to handle their daily
activities independently. To make matters worse, most of these individuals are financially unstable and cannot afford to pay for their medication. Benefits of the App This app comes as a savior to these older individuals to handle most of the issues they are experiencing, making their life better and enable them to age successfully. Firstly, this app will enable the older individuals to reach their loved ones who are far away to avoid feeling lonely. Secondly, the application will ensure that these older individuals have access to health information to guide them on better life choices, especially for those who are alone. Thirdly, the application will offer encouragement message to these individuals to help deal with most of the mental issues they are encountering. Fourthly, the app will offer a platform for older individuals to report their health status and access medication at a free cost. Generally, the app tries to respond to the issues older individuals are experiencing and enable them age successfully. 3. Empathy Map Empathy is at the core of user experience (UX) design. A UX designer sees themselves as the user's strongest supporter in delivering a fun, stress-free product. A designer must be able to comprehend their user, their thoughts, needs, and emotions in order to effectively advocate on their behalf. An effective place to start when gaining this understanding of consumers is using empathy maps. An empathy map is a template that arranges a user's actions and emotions in order to foster empathy between the user and a designer (Browne, 2021). Designers can better understand a principal user's motives, issues, and user experience by using the empathy map, which portrays that user.
