Report
ChatGPT Lab Report Analysis 1 Basics Group name Tireless T-Cells: Brandon Wright, Lacey Garza, Kaylee Wilkins Report topic Urinary and reproductive report Report section assigned to your group Section three; results 2 ChatGPT analysis (2 pts) What are 2 things chatGPT did well in this report? Chat GPT covered every part of each system. Both reproductive systems and the urinary. It also gave a brief explanation of what the function was. For example, explaining that the uterus is where a fetus is developed. (2 pts) What are 2 thing chat GPT could do better in this report? Chat GPT could have gone into better depth as to what the functions are and how they connect to each other. I also didn't see much description as to where things are in terms of placement, especially as far as the male reproductive system is concerned. (2 pts) Is this report an appropriate depth for an introductory college course? Please explain why. No. This report is slightly below college level and quickly touched on both the reproductive systems and the urinary system. If it went into more depth about the placement of certain structures it would be considered a higher level. especially for a major’s biology class. 3 Improve the report (4 pts) Rewrite the report based on your observations in section 2.
Results The kidneys were found to be two bean-shaped structures located on either side of the spine under the intestines. The ureters were muscular tubes that extended from each kidney to the bladder, transporting urine from the kidney to the bladder, they lay behind the uterus of the female pig. The bladder was a hollow tube-like and muscular organ that stores urine until it is ready to be excreted from the body. On the male pig, the bladder connects to the pig's urethra, all inside its penis. The ovaries were identified as two small, oval-shaped structures located near and below the kidneys, holding all the female pig's unfertilized eggs. The oviduct was a thin tube that extended from the ovaries to the uterus in order to transport fertilized eggs. The uterus was a tough organ that connected to the vagina and vaginal opening, it was fairly small in size. It's main purpose is nurturing an embryo. The testes were found to be small, oval-shaped structures located in the scrotum, creating and caring for sperm. They were covered by a thin layer of connective tissue and had a smooth surface. The epididymis was a coiled tube that was attached to the top of each testis, passing sperm over to the vas deferens. The vas deferens was a muscular tube that extended from the epididymis to the urethra, it was extremely small and hard to find. The urethra was a tube that extended all the way from the bladder to the penis, In order to find it and uncover the full structure we had to crack open the pelvis and remove about an inch or two of the bone.
