Running head: COVID-19 1 COVID -19 Student’s Name Institutional Affiliation
COVID-19 2 COVID -19 History The underlying literature pieces define COVID-19 as a disease that is very infectious and is caused by a newly discovered virus known as a coronavirus (Balkhair, 2020; Morens et al., 2020). The disease was first discovered in nineteen thirty-seven in animals (Morens et al. 2020) . One bird that was responsible was identified and isolated. In 1060, the pieces of evidence of COVID nineteen were found in human beings in individuals' noses with the common cold (Morens et al. 2020) . The coronavirus, which is associated with human beings, causes mild sickness such as common colds and mainly occurs in early spring and winter ( Balkhair, 2020) . Late in twenty nineteen, researchers began monitoring a new coronavirus epidemic known as SARS-CoV-2 and were first recognized in Wuhan in china ( Balkhair, 2020) . Since then, the coronavirus has quickly spread globally and was confirmed a plague by the world health organization in match twenty-twenty. According to Morens et al. (2020) , the new pandemic has caused millions of infections and more than two million death globally. Several researchers trust the disease-infected bats first before they spread to other animals such as human beings. Such is because some of the infected people had links to the seafood market and a live animal. My Perspective On What Future Holds Regarding The Treatment Of COVID-19? In my viewpoint, both the vaccine and the treatment are needed to fight this highly pathogenic virus. Such is because the virus can mutate to an extent where the vaccines might be ineffective. Additionally, the need for the vaccine developers to bring out the modernized versions as they make insignificant modifications to the present recipes to adapt to the variants of the new virus. Furthermore, the uptake of the vaccine may also vary worldwide hence some individuals may not be protected. Such, in turn, may lead them to require treatment when infected.
COVID-19 3 My Perspective On What Future Holds Regarding COVID-19 Permanent Changes And Human Behavior? The COVID-19 permanent changes have significant impacts on human behavior worldwide. These changes are essential because after meetings and conferences went virtual attendance shoot up. Such is because the lodging, dining, travel, and other related costs are eliminated. Such, in turn, have introduced Video conferencing tools such as Cisco WebEx, Skype, GoToMeeting, goggle hangouts, and zoom. The tools have improved, and chances are very high that they will remain active even after the pandemic. From my perspective, home delivery services and online shopping businesses will continue expanding even after the pandemic. Such is because such businesses offer convenient services, especially the time individuals are working from home. Additionally, the unnecessary movement to and from the malls is reduced. Such business in the future is likely to increase warehouse distribution demand and local delivery services. There is a possibility for the pandemic to create adverse effects on human behavior after the pandemic. Such is because some businesses that were unstable towards the pandemic and happened to be closed, chances are very high that the businesses closed permanently. Such, in turn, has affected many directly or indirectly. Some businesses such as tollbooth collectors will never recover because of increased transponders use. Office space is no longer in demand, and the chances are high that it will never be. Such is because employers have realized that meetings can be held online, and they no longer need the employees to come to offices. Additionally, the increased working from home thing makes the employers see no need for the offices.

COVID-19 4 Real estates and Residential are no longer in use, and in the future, the trend might continue. Such is because remote working makes the employees feel that they no longer need residential houses in the cities. Personal Experience on Impacts of the Coronavirus on Lives of Working Individuals My experience with the coronavirus pandemic is not a lovely one. Our working wellbeing has been seriously changed. Since match twenty twenty, trillions of money have been lost in our labor income globally. Additionally, the working hours have been reduced, leading to an estimate of seventeen percent of lost working hours worldwide since the onset of the pandemic. Moreover, those of us who are still in jobs are working under different work conditions. Some of us saw our workload skyrocket, and we were forced to work under pressure to meet the new work demands we were experiencing. We had to work from home, forcing us to adapt to different procedures besides balancing work and family challenges, especially for women. Such challenges include private life interference, communication, demands of higher-self organizational, and technological difficulties. Such, in turn, required us to add an extra amount of grit, creativity, and effort to make it work. Due to some firms closing permanently, several of us had to lose our jobs and the occupations as well. Several have lost their livelihood and identity, especially those of us who worked hard towards becoming competent in specific professions and would not wish to work in a different one. Lastly, the introduced coronavirus safety rules such as social distancing have significantly affected how we work and interact with colleagues and customers at work.
