Post-Secondary Planning Information (20 20 -20 21 ) We know that many of you are eagerly awaiting information about how to apply to college or university, etc. Others of you have no idea what you will do next year or in two years. We appreciate that this is not what you expected from your high school experience, but we know that you are making the best of this situation and that you have a bright future ahead of you. Just remember that we are all in this together and we are here to help! This letter outlines the next steps you should be taking on your education journey. 1. Check ASAP that you will have met all of your GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS: - 30 credits (18 compulsory), 20 community service hours (for 2021 grads only), successful literacy test or literacy course. This is your responsibility as a student! AYJ Guidance - Graduation Requirements Notify your guidance counsellor if anything is missing. Still need community service hours? See AYJ Guidance - Community Service 2. Check that you will have met the requirements for any of the following certificates: AYJ Guidance - Registration and Course Selection Scroll to bottom of page for certificates. 3. Complete the Grad 2021 Pathways Survey Google Form . Mr. Horn and Mrs. Collins will use this information to assist you in planning your post-secondary experience. 4. Check our website for information on applying to post-secondary schools and other post-secondary options to consider.
