JEFF KUKLINOWSKI WEEKLY REFLECTIVE JOURNAL
JEFF KUKLINOWSKI Week 1 Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to develop these skills. Week 2 Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to develop these skills. In the first week we had an online meeting, and the teacher introduced us to the structure of the course in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. When I hear about personal learning or personal development, I think about how I can improve and be a new version of myself. It is important that through this course we learn how to understand ourselves and how to decipher certain skills or weaknesses that we have. Here we will also learn how to do a correct essay for any topic and look at an advantage even the bad moments we go through because these are the situations from which we can learn the most
JEFF KUKLINOWSKI Week 3 Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to develop these skills. In week three, I approached a very interesting topic that caught my attention from the beginning, namely the personal SWOT analysis that helps us to capitalize on our opportunities and personal talent. This SWOT analysis identifies the positive and negative factors that have a very big impact on our development. It is advisable to perform this analysis when we have a goal that we want to achieve as it is In my case, personal development. Even if it seems difficult, we need to self- characterize both the strengths and weaknesses and analyze the relationship between them because if we realize a threat we have we can turn it into an opportunity. The topic discussed in the second week was reflective thinking and how it helps us in our personal development. There are many units that require us to reflect on an aspect of our life or how we use our skills. This reflective thinking process helps us make better decisions for our future. He has several models, such as Ginb's model, which has a pattern that we can follow to develop our reflective thinking. This gentleman teaches us to think about an experience and to ask ourselves what happened and what we felt then, to think if it was a right or wrong decision and to analyze to see what else could have been done. All these things help me to improve in the future because I will act differently every time.

JEFF KUKLINOWSKI Week 4 Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to develop these skills. In week four, we talked about the importance of academic writing in a student's life. Academic writing is used in academic disciplines and the most common form I did was the essay. I know the structure of the essay very well because it is a relatively simple one, which requires an introduction, a table of contents with at least two paragraphs and a conclusion. However, I discovered other types of works, and I was surprised to learn that each has its own unique structure. Academic writing is a skill that not many of us have, but we must learn to master it. Week 5 Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to develop these skills. In week five I made a comparison between reflective writing and academic writing learned last week. I also learned last week that reflection is an academic method of assessing experiences, skills, or learning. I like that reflective writing combines emotions with understanding the subject. The language used differs because in reflection we have to be emotional, have a personal language and also express our opinion and opinion on the subject. The content is based on the presentation of our personal experiences that we explain and then analyze, and we will mention what we learned from them.
JEFF KUKLINOWSKI Week 6 Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to develop these skills. Week 7 Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to develop these skills. Use a minimum of one academic source and reference this. In the sixth week we talked about another important skill for any student, namely reading. Reading is the best method of learning and it is also a method of communication and knowledge. The materials are the best friends of the students because here they can find everything they need to do their homework. Another important thing we discussed is the omission of plagiarism because if we use for example resources from the University library in our works and do not make a list of references to include them we will be accused of plagiarism and our search work will not be appreciated. In week seven, we discussed the importance of references in our academic work. First of all, when we use references we are sure that we will not be accused of plagiarism because we will make a clear explanation of the sources we used. also when we are inspired by other sources we receive extra support for the realization of the work And we can find here obvious for our arguments. When we draw up the list of references, the teacher can check these sources. even references are an important academic skill in students' lives. whether we use an idea or use a quote we must say this in our work. JEFF KUKLINOWSKI Week 8 Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to develop these skills. Use a minimum of one academic source and reference this. This journal should be formatively submitted for feedback, via Blackboard, at the end of this week. This week's topic was how we make a presentation. When we talk about a presentation we have to think that we need the skills of writing, reading, communicating and speaking in public. We need to pay attention to the people who attend our presentation and think of ways we can get them to interact with us. The easiest way is to ask them some questions and find out how to please them. The purpose of the presentation is to convey an idea in a way that is as enjoyable as possible so that people can remember what we have presented.
