The Sun is essential to Earth's current state of existence. To begin with, it is what illuminates our globe; otherwise, it would be completely dark during the day. Additionally, it warms up the planet so that we don't freeze and become a solid floating rock in space. The amount of solar radiation influences the temperature on Earth, and it varies depending on how much of it is reflected back by the atmosphere and surface. The Sun's radiation varies according to solar activity. One example of this is the 11-year sunspot cycle, which can change the quantity of UV light the sun emits, having a significant impact on the atmosphere of the Earth. The sun occasionally releases solar flares that could destroy satellites because of its strong electromagnetic power. The Sun also maintains the orbits of the Earth and all the other planets because without it, there would be no gravitational pull to hold us together. Without the Sun, we would simply be floating in a straight line until we encountered something with a strong gravitational pull, at which point we might be drawn into their orbit or collide with something else. There have been numerous technological advancements as a result of the Sun. It serves as a way to tell time and contributed to the development of some of the first calendars. We have also been able to capture the Sun’s energy and use it for other things through solar panels.
