The Enchanting Music of Sign Language
In this great TED video, artist Christine sun kin explains the similarities between signs and music. This effect is an excellent characteristic since she was born with the condition of being deaf; Christine could see a very pleasant interrelation between music and art playing his piano in a very calm way. Therefore, in the video that TED shows, it is essential that you begin to appreciate the nature and beauty of sign language.
We can see how in the video; Christine tells us how this great art form helped her discover that language was closely related to music and that goes beyond simple melodies. In the
video, we see how the sound of music is necessary to be understood by our ears. According to her, this sound can be felt, and this is something that should be practiced. It is not easy to explain
what you can think with music and your soul. Later in the video, Christine gets to share a brief history of her background and her essential advances in the Sign language.
Sun explains that American Sign Language has a rich and long history of more than 200 years. American great Sign of Language has its roots in the Old French Sign Language. Christine
explains how French Sign Language came to the U.S. Over time, the American Sign Language became involved with local signs and became a popular language. Christine further states that she was born deaf and was forced to believe that sounds were an integral part of day to day Growing up as a person with this condition is not easy at all, and you begin to experience deafness in a whole world of different sounds it was as if you were in the other place where you had to be guided by its cultures and rules.

Christine also explains the mighty power within music in sign language. She also explains with his experiences that the creation of sounds through music is magical. She further affirms that the movement is equivalent to the sound in the deaf culture. Finally, she says that when she worked as a painter, she realized the connection between the arts and sound beyond hearing it, if not what it can be felt.
Christine equally wishes and came to explore the power of sound as a new art form. To continue and understand the incredible power of music within American Sign Language, I get too deep into the world of music. Sun compares music to American Sign Language on several dimensional levels. Musical notes cannot be written entirely on a sheet of paper. Similarly, sounds cannot be captured or expressed in articles in ASL. American Sign Language and music can be affected by subtle details or changes due to changes in their patterns of sounds and signs.
From the video shared by Christine, it is very evident that sign language can be used as an effective and essential means of communicating sounds. Contrary to popular belief that deaf people are unable to hear a sound, it can be noted that Christine's approach to using her written language to perceive sounds is evidence that she feels and has a connection to music.
Alice Herz Sommer in 2013 came to assure “it is a mystery that when the first tone of music it begins, it goes immediately in our soul.” So, sign language is also a gift and should be viewed as a gift. So, if we see and analyze these things, with these feelings, music gets to have a powerful effect on the perception of sounds for deaf people, and it is for this very reason, it is considered a member of the ASL.
