Module Two Question 1 Describe one of the beliefs and values of the Navajo as illustrated in your readings. "By talking it out" is one of the values of the Navajo. To determine the cause of an issue, they gather to hear what the issue is and how to come to a solution. Module Two Question 2 Describe one way in which the Navajo have incorporated their beliefs and values into the societal structure on the reservation since regaining some autonomy in the 1970's. The Navajo's will use a medicinal field to incorporate their values and beliefs into the structure of their society. Not only do their healers practice their traditional healing processes they also practice modern medical practices. Module Two Question 3 What beliefs and values can be found in your culture? How do these beliefs and values influence your day-to-day life? In my culture we value hard work and our religion. With hard work you can build a good life for your family and with God anything is possible. Module Two Question 4 Adopt the social science perspective to create a list of questions about this issue. Write at least two questions each from the point of view of a psychologist, a sociologist, and an anthropologist. 1. Do culture or environmental factors play a bigger role in work/life balance? 2. Does an unhealthy balance have an impact on one's mental health? 3. What type of groups show signs of a healthy work/life balance and what type does not? 4. How does society influence one's work/life balance? 5. Are there cultural factors that influence one's work/life balance? 6. How is one's work/life balance today different the 2 generations ago? How are they
