Faa Teamwork Organization, Agreement of Planned Activities, and Team Evaluation Group #: ___ Lab Session#: __ Lab #: __ Lab Reflection due date: Please, fill out and submit this document in Gradescope by the end of the lab session. PART 1: Signed Team Agreement (for completing Lab reflection by the due date) Student Name NetID [ Role Sighature Contact info (email or phone number) Erin grossman efg50 n/a Erin Grossman efg50@scarletm ail.rutgers.edu PART 2: Lab Reflection: With your own words and concisely, please, answer these questions
1. Please, describe the challenges you have encountered to complete this lab and how you addressed them. To me the challenge in this lab was not being able to work with anyone else, therefor | addressed it by using the extra resources given with each lab. For example when | wanted to understand and have a description of the lab i watched the videos on canvas to give myself a better understanding like | would in lecture. 14:650:361 - Intro Mechatronics - Summer 2023, MAE, Rutgers University Dr. Annalisa Scacchioli Faa 2. What theory that you have learned during lectures is applied in this lab? A closed loop integral/derivative control system.
3. Please, include here the plot (obtained with Matlab-not Simulink!) showing the responses of the closed-loop system (height of the fluid in the bottom tank) for the 5 different set of gains of the PID control versus time, as obtained during this lab. Please, add your comments explaining the meaning of this plot in relation with the lab experiment. 1.4 1.2” C3 7 0.4 [ 02 H 0 10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 Time (seconds) In the first graph shown above it shows the different effects having different controllers affecting the same transfer function. Displayed in the second graph shown above is the graph obtained when using the PID tool. With increased response time the riste time decreased. The overshoot percentage changed based in the rise in transient behavior. 14:650:361 - Intro Mechatronics - Summer 2023, MAE, Rutgers University Dr. Annalisa Scacchioli

Faa 4. What did you learn from today’s lab session? How can you use what you learned today in future situations? Please, elaborate. | learned how to use the PID tool. In the future this can help me understand and adapt controllers on other closed loop systems. PART 3: Evaluate your Team Effort With reference with your Lab activity of this week, please, fill out the matrix below including a percentage (0%-100%) to describe the effort of each teammate (including yourself) toward the completion of this Lab Experiment and Lab Reflection Team Effort Evaluation Student name | Amir Erin Michael Rebecca Trinisha Amir % % % % % Erin % % % % % Michael % % % % % Rebecca % % % % % Trinisha % % % % %

For any problems, with constructive collaboration and communication within your Team, please, contact me immediately, so we can solve this issue together! With reference with your Lab activity of this week, please, complete this form, by explaining in which ways during the lab of this week, you and your team worked to improve the abilities listed below (please, be very specific and provide examples related to your activities of this week). * Ability 1: Ability to establish goals to meet deadlines as m * Ability 2: Ability to conduct appropriate experimentation as an individual IAbiIity 3: Ability to analyze and interpret data as an individual and as a tear] * Ability 4: Ability to prepare a professional report in H * Ability 5: Ability to collaborate and communicate constructively, professionally, and ethically with new teammates
OUR TEAM EXPERIENCE (in terms of establishing goals and deadlines; making experiments and analysis of data, writing professional report, and collaborating with ethics and professionalism with teammates). In general the team experience has help understand and be able to bounce ideas off one another to troubleshoot ideas that one is stuck with. 14:650:361 - Intro Mechatronics - Summer 2023, MAE, Rutgers University Dr. Annalisa Scacchioli
