Student Name: Offense/Defense   Activity   Log   F   or   this   assignment,   you'll   read   about   exercises   to   perform   during   practice   for   any   sport.   After   reading   each   exercise’s   instruction,   you   should   perform   the   activity   yourself.    After   performing   all   of   the   practice   activities,   answer   the   questions   below   thoroughly   and   with   complete   sentences.   High   Knee   Jog   Stand   in   place   with   your   feet   hip width   apart.    Quickly   bring   one   of   your   knees   towards   your   chest   and   then   bring   it   down.    Immediately   repeat   with   your   opposite   knee.    Keep   alternating   knees   as   quickly   as   you   can.   Jump   Rope   Hold   a   jump   rope   with   both   hands   and   let   the   center   of   the   rope   fall   on   the   ground   behind   you.    When   you   swing   the   rope   around   you,   keep   your   elbows   close   to   your   sides.    The   movement   of   the   rope   should   come   from   your   wrists   and   forearms,   not   your   shoulders.    Jump   over   the   rope   using   the   balls   of   your   feet.    You   should   only   hop   up   a   short   distance   to   clear   the   rope.   Duck   Unders   Place   both   feet   together   and   squat   down.   While   remaining   down,   take   a   big   step   to   the   left.    Then   bring   your   right   foot   over   and   stand   up.    Repeat   this   exercise   in   the   opposite   direction.    Your   movement   should   look   like   you   are   stepping   sideways   under   a   low   opening.   Squat   Thrust / Burpees Stand   with   your   feet   shoulder   width   apart.    Squat   down   and   place   your   hands   on   the   ground.    Then   use   your   arms   to   carry   your   weight   and   kick   both   legs   back   to   assume   a   push up   position.    Both   arms   should   be   extended   while   your   back   and   legs   make   a   straight   line.    Then   quickly   bring   your   legs   back   so   that   you   are   back   in   a   squat   and   stand   up.    You   may   need   to   practice   hopping   your   legs   back   to   go   between   the   squat   and   push up   positions.
