“StringBuilder” class:

  • The class “StringBuilder” is similar to the class “String” except the way the changes are made to the objects of the “StringBuilder”.
  • The contents of the “StringBuilder” object can be changed whereas the contents of the “String” object cannot be changed.

Method “toLowerCase ()”: This method is used to convert the character into lower case equivalent of the letters that is passed as the argument. If the argument that is passed is already in the lower case then the character will not be changed and will be remain the same.
