Concept introduction:

The veterans of the Gulf war suffered from a debilitating illness commonly known as Gulf war syndrome (GWS). The GWS symptoms have also spread to the family members of Gulf war veterans. The GWS also appears to affect the unborn babies that are conceived by veterans after the war. The main reason for this illness in veterans is the exposure to toxic substances such as uranium, chemical, and biological warfare agents, mutagenic hazards, pesticides during the war.
