UPS systems:
The full form of UPS is “Uninterruptable Power Supply”. They act as a backup power supply for computers. The powering capacity of UPS is usually measured in volt-ampere. A normal computer uses 200 VA and during interruptions or power fluctuations, it gets efficient power supply from UPS which provides up to 1,000 VA.
Types of UPS:
There are four primary types of UPS. They are as follows:
- Standby UPS
- Standby ferroresonant UPS
- Line-interactive UPS
- Double conversion online UPS

- After it has been printed, the clock speed of the central processing unit cannot be changed. This is comparable to the incapacity to modify electricity. In other terms, what transpires when it is utilised?arrow_forward(a) Figure 3 shows the component used to create a pedal system for electric toy car. The speed of the car is controlled by a potentiometer. As an engineer you need to design a prototype for moving forward only based on the value from potentiometer. www.pololu.com Base 1 3 Emitter Collector Collector 3 Emitter (b) (c) Figure 3: (a) DC Motor, (b) TIP120 NPN Darlington and (c) Potentiometer (i) Construct a complete schematic diagram to interface with microcontroller by using two DC motor, two TIP120 and one potentiometer. Make sure all the labelling is included. (ii) Draw your flowchart for the electric toy car pedal system. (5 Marks) (iii) From (i), develop a complete structured programming language by creating the function (def) for the DC motor movement based on analog value from potentiometer.arrow_forwardComputer architecturearrow_forward
- Computer Science The timers are one of the frequently used peripherals within embedded systems. The configuration of a timer is specific to any targeting application it depends on the requirement, where timer peripherals facilitate different modes of operations. Using the timing diagram, explain three different types of timer modes within the RX63N series Microcontroller.arrow_forwardComputer which can perform quadrillion instruction per second is termed as PLC Personal Computer Supercomputer Automobilearrow_forwardDefine the term sentinel.arrow_forward
- CFG to pda. equivalent CFG for the given PDA.below..arrow_forwardComputer Science Processor A has a 3Hz clock and runs a program in 10 seconds. Processor B runs the same program in 8 seconds with a clock rate of 4Hz. How many (more/fewer) clock cycles does processor B require?arrow_forwardConvert the following FA into equivalent PDA?arrow_forward
- What is the purpose of a print spooler in a computer system, and how does it improve the efficiency of printing tasks?arrow_forwardNonearrow_forwardProblem Statement: Suppose you are a senior Design Engineer of Walton group. The company wants to launch a new Smart Air conditioner (S-AC). A temperature sensor will be attached to the system to measure the Room temperature (X). If X is greater than 24 degrees, the power switch will turn on automatically. The motor and compressor will start cooling operation. The system response will be saturated as soon as the room temperature reaches 20 degrees to reduce the power consumption. The transfer function of the system is - G(s) = 0.39 s+1.5 Now, 1. Considering the effects of nonlinearities, design a suitable system that can fulfill the above requirement. 2. Generate step response of the designed system for both open loop and closed loop configuration. 3. Compare the two responses. 4. Conduct literature review and compare your proposed system with the state-of-the-art technology. Please solve this design via matlab Simulink and after designing the save the file and share with me.
