Summary Introduction
To review
The list of the four components of an inflammatory response.
Introduction:
A tissue injury of any type, be it due to infection, burns, irritating chemicals, or physical trauma triggers a series of events, which are collectively called the inflammatory response, or inflammation. These events prevent the damage from spreading, help dispose of cellular debris and pathogens, and also set the stage for tissue-repair mechanisms.
