These are generally unhealthy.

There are various diets and plans promoted for weight loss. These include diets involving removal of necessary required nutrients such as fat-free diets, high protein diets, or very-low carbohydrate diets. For weight loss, no single specific food shall be included or avoided. It requires a healthy eating pattern and maintaining that. The weight-loss patterns include controlled carbohydrates, low fat, controlled portion sizes, combining foods, or herbal remedies. These patterns are based on nutritional adequacy emphasizing on balanced diets. The fad diet patterns work fast, yet they are temporary and do not last long.
