Design a relational
- A relational database is comprised of tables that are rectangular in shape called relations. The table consists of rows called tuples and columns called field or attribute.
- The objective of database design is to eradicate redundancy and to make sure that the data is accurate.
The steps to design relational database are:
- Properly define the purpose of database.
- Collect the data and assemble it in the form of table.
- Refine and normalize the table by adding the new columns, splitting large relations into small relations and creating new relations for the optional data.
- Step 1: define the purpose of database. This database collects information about computing system manufacturers and their products.
