Modified Bin Manager Class
Modify the BinManager class you wrote for
bool addParts (string itemDescription, int q);
bool removeParts (string itemDescription, int q)
int getQuantity(string itemDescription);
These new functions allow parts to be added, parts to be removed, and the quantity in stock for a particular item to be retrieved by using an item description, rather than a bin number, as an argument. In addition to writing the three overloaded functions, you will need to create a private BinManager class function that uses the item description as a search key to locate the index of the desired bin.
Test the new class functions with the same client program you wrote for Programming Challenge 15 in Chapter 8, modifying it to call the new functions. Be sure to use some descriptions that match bins in the array and some that do not.
As you did in the previous Bin Manager program, if an add or remove operation is successfully carried out, make the function return true. If it cannot be done—for example, because the string passed to it does not match any item description in the array—make the function return false. If the getQuantity function cannot locate any item whose description matches the one passed to it, make it return −1.

- C++ PROGRAM STRING MANIPULATION Create a class Class1 with a string data member ‘paragraph’. Provide a constructor and getParagraph() method in the class. The constructor just assigns NULL to the data member. getParagraph() method must read a paragraph from user. The paragraph should contain at least 30 words. If there are less than 20 words, the program must ask user to enter paragraph again. Create another class Class2, and make it a friend of the class Class1. Provide a function getSubString(Class1 &obj1, int startIndex, int lastIndex) with return type string in the class Class2 which accepts an object of class Class1 (by reference) and two integers. The getSubString() function should return the substring starting from location startIndex and ending at location lastIndex. Class2 must also contain a store() function that stores the substring in a file. Print screenshot of substring stored in file as well.arrow_forwardTask Online Shopping SystemUsing classes and arrays, the team will develop a set of functions for an online shopping system. The system is represented by the following structure: 1- Class Item having the following private attributes: (ID, name, quantity, price) and the following public methods:- Constructors (default, parameterized, and copy)- Setters & Getters- Operator overloading for the ==, +=,-=, >> and << operatorsNote that the ID member variable is not entered or read from the user. It is automatically set by the class as a serial ID starting with the first item of ID 1 and incrementing with every new object. 2- Class Seller having the following private attributes: (name, email, items,maxItems), where items is a dynamic array of objects of type Item with the size maxItems. The class has the following public methods:- Constructor (parameterized)- Operator overloading for the >> and << operators- Add An Item.- This will take an Item object as a…arrow_forwardc++ Write a class named TestScores. - Problem: Employee and ProductionWorker Classes Write a python class named ProductionWorker that is a subclass of the Employee class. The ProductionWorker class should keep data attributes for the following information: • Shift number (an integer, such as 1, 2, or 3)• Hourly pay rateThe workday is divided into two shifts: day and night. The shift attribute will hold an integer value representing the shift that the employee works. The day shift is shift 1 and the night shift is shift 2. Write the appropriate accessor and mutator methods for this class. Once you have written the class, write a program that creates an object of the ProductionWorker class, and prompts the user to enter data for each of the object’s data attributes. Store the data in the object, then use the object’s accessor methods to retrieve it and display it on the screen Note: The program should be written in python. A: 87-100, B+: 80-86, B: 72-79, C+: 66-71, C: 60-65, D: 50-59, F: 0-49 The file should be saved once grade for all students is calculated. A base class, Cylinder, will be created, with its derived classes, also called child classes or sub-classes. First, create a parent class, Cylinder. Create a constant for pi since you will need this for any non-square containers. Use protected for the members. Finally, create a public function that sets the volume. // The formula is: V = pi * (r^2) * h Task 2: Create a derived, or child class for Cylinder, that is, a Cone class. The same function, with the same parameters, is used. However, the formula is different for a cone. // The formula is: V = (1/3) * pi * (r^2) * h Task 3: Test your classes in the main function by creating an instance of Cone and an instance of Cylinder. In each case, call the set_volume function, passing the same parameters. Task 4: Create a derived class for Cone called PartialCone. Add a second radius variable with scope specific to this class (because the top and…arrow_forward
- C++arrow_forwardC++ Program Assignment 1: Inheritance Create a base class and also a class that is derived from the base class. The base class needs to very generic, but would expect at least 4 data items. You must code getters and setters but it is OK to code in-line methods in the same file as this class. The derived class should use the public access specification. The code can be based on anything you like. Examples could be: Base Class Derived ClassMusic Instrument TrumpetCake Birthday or Wedding CakeAnimal Bear, Cat, or more general such as mammal, fish, etcAssignment:1. In your main code, create an instance variable based on your base class and also an instance variable based on your derived class.2. Set variable values for each instance. ( Call the setters).3. If the operation is completed successfully it should return the number of units remaining in stock for that item.
