- A string data type is used to store a text, which is a collection of characters.
- String can also be said as an array of characters and in C#, the individual characters present in a string can be accessed using the subscript notation.
- The set of strings or words that are separated by spaces or other characters are called tokens.
- The spaces or the symbols that are used to separate the tokens are called the delimiters.
