Chapter 8.1, Problem 1CC
Summary Introduction
Photosynthesis is a process in which light energy is converted into chemical energy of food. In eukaryotes, photosynthesis occurs in chloroplasts of leaves. The leaves are the major organs of photosynthesis in plants. Chloroplasts are the organelles that contain thylakoids. The stacks of thylakoids forms grana. The entry of CO2 and exit of O2 takes place through the microscopic pores called stomata.
