Explanation of Solution
There are two major potential source of error that can affect any survey. These are sampling error and non-sampling error.
While taking the sample a survey may exclude some parts of the population data. Thus, do not represent the results that would be obtained from the entire population. This is called sampling error.
Similarly, the error caused by sampleselection or the presence of any factor, whether systemic or random, that results in the inaccurate data values are called non-sampling error.
Hence, sampling error and non-sampling error are two potential source of error that can affect the survey.
