Cancer is collectively a group of diseases in which abnormal cell growth occurs and it has the potential to infect or spread to other body parts. Cancer is one of the two types of cancer; malignant and benign. Tumor growth is linked with inflammation and oxidative stress. Thus, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative properties of ginger could play a role in cancer prevention.
