- A
database system that contains data, programs and personnel that are specialized in preparing the data contents being used in the Business Intelligence application is called as data warehouse. - The operational data cannot be read and processed directly in some of the operational database.
- It requires data to be read from the operational database through the process namely Extract, Transform and Load also called as ETL (Extract Transform Load) system.
