Summary Introduction

To discuss:

The cell division occurs in the skin and its relation with the tattoos.

Concept introduction:

Skin is the soft outer covering of animals. In humans, the skin is made up of three layers, the outermost is the epidermis which provides a waterproof barrier and creates the skin tone; the inner layer is dermis which contains connective tissue, hair follicles, and sweat gland.

The third layer is subcutaneous tissue which is made up of fat and connective tissue. The cell cycle of skin takes place very fast. In this, the new cells are grown beneath the epidermis as the old cells of epidermis sheds then new cells will take the place of old cells and renew the epidermis layer.
