Deadlock:
In a computer system, a set of blocked processes each holding a resource and waiting to acquire the resource held by another process in the set is called a deadlock problem.
For example, consider that A is a sender of the message and B is a receiver of the message.
- A sends a message and waits for the acknowledgement of B. Now, B also receives a message and sends the acknowledgement to A.
- But due to some problem, the acknowledgement is lost.
- Here, the sender A stops and waits for an indefinite period of time for the acknowledgement of B.
- On another side, the receiver B also waits for the next message from A...
