The different types of dimensions that are available in the data warehouse are as follows:

• Slowly changing dimension - The attributes of a dimension would change over a period of time.
• Rapidly changing dimension - This contains the marketing factors which include the demand, taste, preference, and other factors that changes rapidly are stored under rapidly changing dimensions.
• Junk dimension - It contains different and unrelated attributes to avoid large number of foreign keys in the fact table.
