Chapter 7.9, Problem 3CC
Summary Introduction

Culturing microbes is feasible only when an appropriate culture media are available. A solid or liquid preparation, which is used to grow, transport, and to store desire microbes is termed as a culture medium. The medium should contain all the essential nutrients for effective results. Specified media are crucial in isolation and identification of microbes, for example, the testing of antibiotic sensitivities, industrial microbiology, and food analysis.
