And then we take like term to right hand side and variable term to left hand side.

Calculation:

Consider the equation.

  $\frac{3}{x}+\frac{1}{2}=1$ .

Now, in the above equation we have $x$ has variable .

Recall that we will take the L.C.M of the denominator.

Therefore L.C.M of $\left(x,2\right)=2x$ .

Recall that we take like term to right hand side and variable term to left hand side.

Therefore

  $\begin{array}{l}\frac{3}{x}+\frac{1}{2}=1\Rightarrow \frac{3}{x}=1-\frac{1}{2}=\frac{1}{2}\\ \Rightarrow \frac{3}{x}=\frac{1}{2}\Rightarrow x=6\end{array}$

Therefore the results of the equations is $x=6$ and the L.C.M is $2x$ .
