Introduction:

Memory is the capacity of the nervous system to hold and recover knowledge and skills. Memory is shared across the brain areas that include the cortical sensory areas, medial temporal lobes, and hippocampus. The three critical phasesof memory include encoding of information, storage, and retrieval. The memory is divided into three types: long-term memory, short-term memory, and sensory memory.
