Then displayBits() function display the bits value of the input integer value. It first checks whether specific system allocates 4 bytes or 2 bytes to store the integer value. It then initializes the bitmask accordingly. A loop executes from 1 to total no of bits for that integer value. In each iteration integer bits are compared with the bitmask using bitwise AND operation to check whether current bit is 1 or 0 and print accordingly. To separate the bits in 8 bits group, after every 8 bit a space is inserted. Sample output:
