Introduction:
Blood contains three types of cellular components. These are red blood cells (RBCs), platelets, and white blood cells (WBCs). The WBCs or leukocytes are of two types, namely, granular and agranular. Granular WBCs are neutrophils, eosinophils, and basophils. Agranular WBCs are monocytes and lymphocytes.
