Introduction:
The proportion between the males and females in a population is referred to as sex ratio. It is estimated by the number of males per 100 females. The sex ratio is categorized into three types, namely primary, secondary, and tertiary sex ratio. The ratio at the time of conception is called the primary sex ratio. The ratio at the time of birth is known as the secondary sex ratio. The ratio of mature organisms is known as tertiary sex ratio.
