  1. Write the system of equations ( 7.132 ) and ( 7.133 )
  2. if l 1 = 2 m , l 2 = 1.5 m , k = 1.5 m , g = 9.81 m/s 2 , m = 1000 k g and a = 5 m / s 2 .
  3. For the system of equations found in part (a), find R 1 and R 2
  4. using the substitution method.
  5. Write the system of equations in the matrix form A x = b , where x = [ R 1 R 2 ] .

In the other words, find matrices A and b.

(d) Find R 1 and R 2 using the matrix algebra method.

(e) Find R 1 and R 2 using the Cramer’s rule.
