A. What is the probability that path A-B-D-F-G will take from 100 to 120 days to complete? Answer = 40.2%
B. What is the probability that path A-C-E-G will take less than 85 days to complete? Answer = 32.64%
C. If the contract for the above project is 120 days, what is the chance of meeting the schedule? Answer = 86.3%
D. What duration (number of full days) should be used to be at least 90% confident of finishing on time? Answer = 125 days - Probability of 93%

There are four critical paths in a network. A-B-C-D-E, A-F-E, A-B-H-J-K-E and A-S-T-E. Each activity in this network can be crashed by a maximum of 4 weeks. The crashing cost (per week), for the first week (crashing first time), for activity A is: $400, E is $415 and all other activities is : $100 (per week per activity). The crashing cost, second week and onwards(crashing second time), for activity A is $1000 per week, E is $1200 per week and for all other activities is $200 per activity per week. You have a maximum crashing budget of $2505. The maximum possible reduction in the project duration will be:
a. 2 weeks
b. 3 weeks
c. 4 weeks
d. 5 weeks
e. 6 weeks

- A commercial company has a main branch located in Beirut with around 35 employees. The company is looking to expand its activities by opening 3 new branches in Lebanon. To facilitate information and data sharing, the company decided to implement a network in each branch, then to connect all the branches into a single network. Also, the new network will be based on giving employees the facility to use their laptops and smartphones in most of their operations. On the other hand, the company has a major problem with organizing its data. The human resource, finance, sales, and customer service departments have all developed separately their own systems and data files, which created a lot of redundancy and poor security. Managers can't have access to timely, accurate, or relevant information for analysis because the data have been poorly organized and maintained in separated files.
