To determine:
The three key elements of motivation
Introduction:
Motivation is the process that account for an individual’s intensity, direction, and persistence of effort toward attaining a goal.

Explanation of Solution
The three key elements of motivation are Intensity, Direction, and Persistence. All of these elements should come together if the effort that a person makes, to achieve a goal should be successful.
Firstly Intensity is the amount of effort put in by the person. How hard is he/she working towards making his goal/s achievable? It can also be said to be the hard work a person does for the said purpose.
The second element of motivation is Direction. As we all know if there is no particular path that we follow there is no use in any hard work done since there is no idea as to where this would end. Hence intensity should be combined with a direction that would benefit the organization or person ultimately. This sort of ‘effort’ is what an organization looks for when motivating its employees.
Thirdly it is the Persistence of the effort put into achieving a particular goal that makes it complete. It is how long someone can maintain the hard work done in a particular direction towards achieving the goal. If there is no patience and determination it would be difficult for anyone to see great results since it all takes time and constant determination.

- South Sudan has witnessed intermittent civil war since December 2013 and widespread communal and localised violence. As a result, there is widespread insecurity, large-scale internal displacement, and refugee outflow to Sudan and Uganda, as well as largely deteriorated food security. International aid is often not reaching the desired results and restriction of movement as well as bureaucratic impediments cause problems and hamper reaching the neediest. Post Pandemic there is an increase in poverty, low employment opportunities, displacement of people due to host government policies, armed conflict, and no link of humanitarian response to development and resilience building as well as security threat for reduced access to the needy locations. The perceptions of marginalisation amongst poor displaced communities and reinforced frustrations at the failure of local authorities and the international community to deliver public services and social security remain a huge challenge in the…arrow_forwardHow can a balanced workout plan in combining strength training, cardio, and flexibility ensure comprehensive fitness? By collaborating with Vietnam which exports the world's third-largest amount of rice Thailand can gain better pricing control and solve their joint problem of rising production expenses. Market prices could experience substantial changes through collaborations between Thailand and Vietnam who stand as the second and third-biggest global exporters respectively. The proposed agreement intends to reduce the financial pressure on farmers by boosting export prices since rice prices have stayed minimal for twenty years while production prices have increased. Thailand and Vietnam cooperate through this partnership to simultaneously boost farmer salaries and strengthen their market position in worldwide trade. I believe that Ms. Browne Sanders did in fact have the basis for a sexual harassment suit because her claims of retaliation from management after coming out about the verbal abuse and sexual harassment from her superiors, to me, are proven by her being let go shortly after bringing them to light. Not only that, but the jury found her case compelling enough to award her the $11 million (Sandomir, 2007). Sexual harassment cases like this are hard to make due to the reliance on the credibility of those involved (the victim and the perpetrator), one of which has it in his best interest to deny the claims outright. This leaves the victim in a vulnerable situation where retaliation can occur, such as this, because of the “he said she said” nature of the issue. A study done in 2023 showed the decline of women who report their harassment from 66% the previous year down to 59% (Cox, 2023). This was…arrow_forward
