Decide whether you can find each integral using the formulas and techniques you have studied so far. Explain. (a) ∫2dx / √(x2 + 4) (b) ∫dx/x√(x2 − 9)
Advanced Math
What is the integral? I completed the square and set t-3=sqrt(2)sec(theta). Everything (including dt) would cancel out, leaving the integral of tan(theta), which would become ln|sec(theta)|+C, but my actual value of sec(theta) is either wrong, or the process leading up to this is wrong.
