Given information:

Calculation:

If for the given system of equation does not have a variable with coefficients of 1 or -1 then first we have to make coefficient 1 or -1 and then we can solve as usually with same method.

By dividing coefficient with whole equation, we can make the coefficient of variable as 1 or -1.

For example: The given equation is $5x=10y+2$ , here none of the variable has coefficient 1 or -1.

Dividing above equation by 5 we get

  $x=2y+\frac{2}{5}$ in this equation variable of $x$ is 1.
