Introduction: Bones provide the protective and supporting framework for the tissues and organs of the body. They are classified into four types based on their shape—long bones, flat bones, short bones, and irregular bones. Long bones are greater in length and lesser in width. The long bones are located in the upper limbs, such as arms and palm, and the lower limbs, such as toes and legs.
