Explanation of Solution

Registers:

• It is the one of the sets of information holding places that is component of the processor.
• Register contains high-speed memory which is used to store data or instruction in execution.
• Processors contain various dissimilar types of registers. Each type of register has particular storage function.
• The function of registers is used for storing the following details
  • The location from where an instruction was collected
  • An instruction while the control unit translates it.
  • Data while the ALU estimates it.
  • Results of a calculation.

System clock:

• System clock is used to handles the timing of all computer operations.
• It produces regular electronic pulses or clock cycles that set the operating pace of components of the system unit.
• The processor built on a minor quartz crystal circuit calls the system clock to control all synchronization inside a computer system.
