Introduction:
Primarily, the skin color is determined by the amount of melanin produced in the skin by melanocytes and the size of these granules. Though transiently, certain environmental factors and physiological factors might bring about a change in the skin color. The skin might also change in case of diseases; like in case of jaundice the skin appears yellow.
