The fillers which are used to make plastics conduct electricity should be determined.
Concept introduction:
The electrical behavior of plastics can be described using five properties such as resistance, insulation resistance, dielectric strength, dielectric constant and dissipation factor. The electrical conductivity of plastics is limited due to the covalent bonds of polymers. Therefore, usually plastics are electrical insulators. But, plastics can be converted into electrical conduct by mixing electricity conducting materials which named as conducting fillers.
