Fishing Game Simulation
For this assignment, you will write a
Here are some suggestions for the game’s design:
- Each round of the game is performed as an iteration of a loop that repeats as long as the player wants to fish for more items.
- At the beginning of each round, the program will ask the user whether or not he or she wants to continue fishing.
- The program simulates the rolling of a six-sided die (use the Die class that was shown in Code Listing 6-14).
- Each item that can be caught is represented by a number generated from the die; for example, 1 for “a huge fish”, 2 for “an old shoe”, 3 for “a little fish”, and so on.
- Each item the user catches is worth a different amount of points.
- The loop keeps a running total of the user’s fishing points.
- After the loop has finished, the total number of fishing points is displayed, along with a message that varies depending on the number of points earned.

- Challenge Activity 1: Turtle Graphics (PYTHON): Hit the Target Modification Enhance the hit_the_target game program shown in the computer lab activity above, so that, when the projectile misses the target, it displays hints to the user indicating whether the angle and/or the force value should be increased or decreased. For example, the program should display messages such as 'Try a greater angle' and 'Use less force.'arrow_forwardJava Programming Travel Tickets Company sells tickets for airlines, tours, and other travel-related services. Because ticket agents frequently mistype long ticket numbers, Travel Tickets has asked you to write an application that indicates invalid ticket number entries. The class prompts a ticket agent to enter a six-digit ticket number. Ticket numbers are designed so that if you drop the last digit of the number, then divide the number by 7, the remainder of the division will be identical to the last dropped digit. This process is illustrated in the following example: Step 1. Enter the ticket number; for example, 123454. Step 2. Remove the last digit, leaving 12345. Step 3. Determine the remainder when the ticket number is divided by 7. In this case, 12345 divided by 7 leaves a remainder of 4. Step 4. Assign the Boolean value of the comparison between the remainder and the digit dropped from the ticket number. Step 5. Display the result—true or false—in a message box. - (Simulation) Write a program to simulate the roll of two dice. If the total of the two dice is 7 or 11, you win; otherwise, you lose. Embellish this program as much as you like, with betting, different odds, different combinations for win or lose, stopping play when you have no money left or reach the house limit, displaying the dice, and so forth. (Hint: Calculate the dots showing on each die with the expression dots=(int)(6.0randomnumber+1), where the random number is between 0 and 1.)arrow_forwardHangman gameWrite a terminal based on the game of Hangman. In a hangman game, the player is given a wordthat they need to guess, with each letter of the word represented by an underscore/blank. Theplayer tries to guess a letter of the word by entering it into the terminal. If the letter is correct, theblank corresponding to that letter is filled in. If the letter is incorrect, a part of a stick figure isdrawn. The player has a limited number of incorrect guesses before the stick figure is fully drawnand the game is lost. The player wins the game if they guess all the letters of the word before thestick figure is fully drawn. The program should have an array of possible words to choose from. A different word should berandomly chosen from the array every time we run the program.Others: Do not use GOTO statementsarrow_forwardThe Spider Game Introduction: In this assignment you will be implementing a game that simulates a spider hunting for food using python. The game is played on a varying size grid board. The player controls a spider. The spider, being a fast creature, moves in the pattern that emulates a knight from the game of chess. There is also an ant that slowly moves across the board, taking steps of one square in one of the eight directions. The spider's goal is to eat the ant by entering the square it currently occupies, at which point another ant begins moving across the board from a random starting location. Game Definition: The above Figure illustrates the game. The yellow box shows the location of the spider. The green box is the current location of the ant. The blue boxes are the possible moves the spider could make. The red arrow shows the direction that the ant is moving - which, in this case, is the horizontal X-direction. When the ant is eaten, a new ant is randomly placed on one of the…arrow_forward
- Java Programming A bakery company provides a bonus of a new bakery product package for customers who buy at least 10 breads in the company anniversary award which will be celebrated in the next three months. To get the bonus, the customer is given the opportunity three times to guess a number determined by the application from numbers 1 to 20. For each guess number given by the customer, the application will respond as follows:• If the guessed number is smaller than the lucky number, you will see the words "Bigger Number"• If the guessed number is greater than the lucky number, you will see the words "Smaller Number"• If the guessed number is the same as a lucky number, it will match the words "Congratulations ... you found a LUCKY number"As part of the company's IT team, you serve to create a lucky number guessing game console.A. Each one has a different number from 1 to 9. * If the user selects the correct button, it should turn green and become disabled. The score should beincremented by 1. * If the user selects the incorrect button, it should turn red and all the buttons should become disabled. * If the user selects the “Reset” button, all buttons should be white and become enabled, their random numbers should be reassigned and the score set to 0.
