Question
Chapter 6, Problem 13TYU
Summary Introduction
Concept introduction: When any signaling molecule interacts with a receptor, it induces a conformational change in a receptor and forms ligand‑receptor complex. This interaction activates the receptor, which further activates different secondary molecules such as calcium ions, cyclic adenosine monophosphate (AMP), and diacylglycerol (DAG). The secondary molecules activate the other protein kinases or phosphatases to produce cellular response.
