Introduction: There are four sequences of events taking place in cell signaling. They are signal transmission, reception, signal transduction, and response. In signal transduction, the cell converts the extracellular signals into intracellular signals. Different secondary molecules, protein kinases, and phosphatases play an important role in cell signaling.
