Interpretation:
How the quantum numbers arise as a consequence of the wave model should be recognized.
Concept introduction:
The recognition of dual nature of radiation guided, de Broglie to frame of a similar dual nature of matter also. Integers like 1, 2, 3, 4, .. occur naturally in physics when wave nature is considered. Bohr also used these numbers to describe electron orbits. So, the electrons also posses wave like properties.
Newtonian mechanics for atomic systems has some limitations. So, a new approach suitable for systems with wave character is necessary.
