Introduction: The skin has two distinct layers, namely, the dermis, and epidermis. The dermis consists of collagen, extrafibrillar matrix, and elastic fibers. The dermis also consists of accessory structures, including apocrine glands, sweat glands, sebaceous glands, nerves, lymphatic vessels, and blood vessels.
